Product Dis-assembly - Breville "The kinetic Control" BBL605
Overview Feedback
The class was productive today that we worked in groups to disassemble a product. It's interesting to see that in one assembly that there are so many parts and screws to have the product working. Our group was assigned with the Breville "The kinetic Control" BBL605 blender. A lot of the plastic parts can be easily defined since they have mini labeling on the part, where others we needed to consult "Sam"the professional from Breville.
Sam explained one of the parts to me that it can be rubber or silicon but it's a special type of silicon called TPE that was uses at the base and the lid of the product.
Some of the parts we needed extra equipment to dissemble since they are forced in to avoid the blades to fall out during the blending process. It was also nice that everybody helped out discussing how each part was produced with the tutors and I'm sure I learnt something.
The greenfly explains how transportation, water and oil come into play when producing a product to make us understand that there are a lot of factors we need to consider for production.
